Fresh picked tomatoes, eggplant and zucchini flowers!

Summer 2010

Tomatoes and Basil!!
My first garden stuggled a bit, as the chipmunks and rabbits at most of my produce! :(
I have made lots of fresh sauce for the winter with my fresh ingredients!!!

Herb Garden:  Parsley, Rosemary, Sage, Cilantro, Basil and Thyme
This summer I tried to use only fresh herbs.  I love grilled chicken with fresh herbs or making homeade salad dressings or sauces with the fresh herbs!

Summer Squash and Banana Peppers!

Saute, grill, or bake.... yummmm!

My mom introduced me to stuffed hot peppers with cream cheese and provolone cheese.  Before stuffing the pepper, try to get out as much seeds as possible if the peppers are very spicy and wear gloves if you have sensitive eyes!  The best way to cook the peppers are in a cast iron pan, so you can nicely brown up the peppers, then you put them in the oven to melt the cheese....cut and put atop a piece of baguette.  Such a delicious appetizer!
