What goes better with food than wine?  Now that fall is here, my husband and I started to venture back into our wine collection.  Last night, we opened a bottle of dry red wine that was pretty good!  As we enjoyed this new bottle of wine, I thought to myself, lets blog about wine too!

Our Reds

Last year, my husband and I bought a house and thought our basement was the perfect wine cellar!  Although its not too professional right now, our wine racks are holding up just perfectly and it does the job!  We have a white and a red wine rack.  As you see, we have more red than white, as we both prefer dry red to anything sweet! AKA most finger lake wines, as we are surrounded by!  (They do make great wines for cooking with, however...)  The only problem is keeping them full!

The bottle is very reasonable, dry and bold

My mom and pop hand carried this wine back
from Germany!  We paired this with the
pork tenderloin dish in my blog.

This Cabernet Sauvignon is not the
greatest red wine, but it does have
a cute name going for it!
